About camelCase Converter
A camelCase converter joins words with no spaces, starts with a small letter and capitalises the first letter of each word after it. Paste a phrase or an identifier such as user_profile_name, and you get userProfileName. It is free, needs no sign-up and runs in your browser, so nothing you enter is uploaded.
camelCase is the usual style for variable and function names in JavaScript, Java and many other languages. The tool first splits the text into words, so it understands spaces, underscores, hyphens and an existing camelCase or PascalCase boundary, then rebuilds the name.
Each line is converted on its own, so a list of names becomes a list of camelCase names. Punctuation is dropped, and letters and digits are kept as words: "Hello, World! 2024 report" becomes helloWorld2024Report.
How to use camelCase Converter

- On a page for one case, such as Uppercase, the converted text appears under the box in a Result field, and you can pick another case to compare.
- Press Copy to put the result on your clipboard, or Download .txt to save it as a file.

Privacy: how it works
- The conversion runs in your browser tab. Your text is not sent to Ulkaa or to any other server.
- This tool does not save your text. Close or reload the page and it is gone.
Tips
- Convert to lowercase first when text arrives in capitals, and then to Sentence case to fix it. Typing in capitals is the usual cause.
- Use Use result as input to chain cases, for example Title Case and then camelCase.
- Check small words in a Title Case result. The guides disagree on prepositions of four letters or more, so pick the one your publisher uses.
- Convert a whole list of names at once. Every line is handled on its own for the code cases.
