About Quiz Maker
This quiz maker lets you build a quiz with multiple choice, true or false and short answer questions, then play it, print it or save it as a file. It is free, needs no sign-up and runs in your browser, so your questions and answers are never uploaded.
You write every question yourself, so the quiz covers exactly the material you are studying or teaching. Mark the correct option with a radio button, or for a short answer type the accepted answers. When you press Play, you answer the questions and press Submit, and the page shows your score and percentage and marks the answers you missed. Try again plays it once more. A timer, shuffled questions and shuffled options are optional.
There are no accounts, no class codes and no live leaderboard. The quiz lives on your own device. Print a copy with an answer key for a classroom, or export a JSON file and send it to a friend, who can import it into the same page.

Tips
- Write one idea per question and make wrong options plausible, so the quiz tests understanding and not guessing.
- For short answers, list the common spellings and forms with a vertical bar, such as USA | United States | US.
- Export a JSON file after you finish a quiz you want to keep, because browser storage can be cleared.
- Switch on both shuffles before you play a quiz you wrote, so you learn the answers and not the order.
